I adapted the dough recipe from one of the Turkish savory bun recipes I found in the internet.

The pastry is soft, and rich in flavor.
The dough in this recipe is the first dough recipe I have ever baked. I don't know where I get the recipe from but I used it as pizza dough for a very long time.
When I prepared the dough, I was planning to make pizza, however, as usual I failed, to check the other ingredients and saw that I don't have anything but cream cheese and tahini. Hence I decided to make tahini ship biscuit.

I tried to make them according to my mom's recipe. I made the slices thinner than usual and here comes the breadsticks.
Kataifi, or shredded phyllo dough, is a very common dessert ingredient in the Middle Eastern, Turkish and Greek cuisines. Like baklava, it is sweetened with sugar syrup or honey. There are some varities for preparing it. The most popular one is "kunefe" which has unsalted cheese in it and is served while it is still warm.

In Turkey, it is very easy to find a phyllo dough maker, and most of the time those stores have kataifi dough as well. In the US, however, I could not find uncooked kataifi for a very long time. There are precooked kataifi in the Middle Eastern, Turkish or Greek markets, and as you can imagine, you have limited options with those.
Borek is one of the most frequently side dishes in Turkey, and usually one of the musts for 5 o'clock tea.

Even though, for this one I used patatoes as filling, you can replace it with anything you want. Spinach and patatoes are the two most frequently used fillings.
I love chocolate, it makes me happy, I can concentrate better even after 3-4 pieces of M&M.

Chocolate helps us to produce happy hormones, the scientists say. It is no wonder that there are many recipes with chocolate (1,2), and the movie "Chocolat" was that popular. (OK, Johnny Depp is another reason.)
Do not prejudge the name. This cake does not test like bean. It is also called as chestnut cake because of its taste.
Ingredients:
4/3 cups dry white bean
2 eggs
1 cups sugar
1/2 tbsp baking powder
2/3 cups walnuts
1.5 tsp cinnamon
I really like oatmeal cookies, and my favorites are raisin-cinnamon oatmeal cookies. I found this recipe from a margarine package. It makes about 1.5 dozen large cookies, or 3 dozen small cookies.

As usual, I add all of the dried fruits I found at the home.
