Chocolate Cake
I love chocolate, it makes me happy, I can concentrate better even after 3-4 pieces of M&M.

Chocolate helps us to produce happy hormones, the scientists say. It is no wonder that there are many recipes with chocolate (1,2), and the movie "Chocolat" was that popular. (OK, Johnny Depp is another reason.)
This recipe is relatively new for me. My ex-groupmate gave this recipe to me when we were invited to our advisor's home for a dinner. This is really an easy recipe, so once I got this recipe, I put my old favorite chocolate cake recipe aside.
The picture was waiting in the computer for a very long time.
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup cocoa
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup boiling water
1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Beat eggs with milk, oil and vanilla.
3. Add the boiling water slowly to eggs.
4. Mix dry ingredients and egg mixture.
5. Cook it in a 350F/180C oven for 25-30 minutes, until the toothpick you stick in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
Hint: If you are making cupcakes, necessary time for the cooking will reduce to 15-20 minutes.
