When I was searching for new recipes I saw this one. In my country we make it as a salty cake and eat it with afternoon tea.

Onion Corn Bread

It is a really easy recipe and makes 6 servings.

Ingredients:
1.5 cups all purpose flour
1 cup corn meal
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 scallions (finely chopped)
2 eggs
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup vegetable oil

1. Mix all dry ingredients at a bowl. Add chopped scallions.

2. Put all other ingredients at another bowl and whisk quickly. Add them to dry ingredients and stir well.

3. Spray oil to a square baking dish (8"-20cm or equivalent rectangle baking dish). Put the dough to the dish, and place the dish to 400F-200C oven. Bake it 20-25 minutes untill the bread rises and the top turn into a golden brown color.

4. Slice the bread when it is cool down.
