This bread takes 5 minutes to prepare, some resting time and 25 minutes of baking. It makes 4 servings.

Corn Bread

Try it with soup.

Ingredients:
2/3 cups of warm water
5 tbsp warm milk
1 tbsp corn oil
2 cups of all purpose flour
3/4 cups of corn meal

1 tsp salt
1 tsp honey
1.5 tsp active dry yeast (1/4 package of yeast)

Topping:
Water
Cornmeal

1. Put milk, water and oil to a bowl. Add yeast (if you are using dry yeast it should be added as a final step).

2. Spread first flour, than corn meal over the water.

3. Add salt and honey, and mix well.

4. Rest the bread for 1.5 hours. Brush it with water and spread some corn meal.

5. Bake the bread for half an hour or 25 minutes for 450F-230C oven.

For bread machine;
1. Follow first 2 step as above.

2. Add salt and honey at different corners

3. Add dry yeast. Set the machine to medium crust, fast mode.

4. Brush the top with water and spread some corn meal 5 minutes before the baking starts. (25 minutes before the cycle finish)
